No. I try to avoid doing this. If I listen to a song more than once in a short period it often becomes engraved in my mind and plays on for some time if I am not occupied with anything else. I prefer music that is elaborate and not too repetitive for this reason. I sometimes wake up in the middle of the night with a song playing in my head. This is especially a problem with songs I dislike. If someone around me listens to the same music repeatedly I feel as though I am being assaulted.

Sure do... I have had the same Caroline's Spine cd in my player for about five years now. Heh. I am apparently permanently obsessed with Monsoon...

Intresting I use to listen to songs over and over when I was younger. Why do think many of us do that?

Yes, not only for songs and classical pieces, but with songs I write; I just now got done playing a new song about 20 times in a row.

Max Ritcher's "On the Nature of Daylight" is such a song that gets inside of your head. Not because it is catchy and upbeat, its because its a very haunting song that is both beautiful and depressing. It gets inside of my head for days!

Yes. I do it periodically I get stuck in a groove. Some of the songs I have listened to repeatedly are probably considered rubbish by a lot of people. Also I can get stuck watching the same video on youtube

Yes, over the years I have found it to be a form of therapy. There have been so many songs, mainly by the following:
Marilyn Manson, Nine Inch Nails, Rammstein, Deftones, Radiohead, My Vitriol, Muse, Evanescence, Coldplay, Garbage, Jack Off Jill, Scarling, Tool, Therapy...

You're not the only one. I do it, too. I'm currently stuck on "If It Makes You Happy" by Sheryl Crow, one of my favorite songs and musicians.

a while ago i was stuck on a recording of the organ stop wurlitzer playing "clap hands! here comes charlie!" i must've listened to that thing for an hour. then there was "let the little girl dance" which i listened to just about as long. presently it is al delory's version of "suicide is painless" that has me snapping my fingers, playing it over and over. before that it was fats waller's "jitterbug waltz" that i kept listening to.

I'm currently listening to this song a ton of times. I've listened to it about 15 times in a row by now. It's so catchy and super awesome. 8)
