I am writing a novel now. I have written a few before, which were unsuccessfully scorned by agents :( I am now on p. 350 of this one. The main character is an Aspie girl.

My style of writing is very poetic and metaphorical, usually taking place in the characters' head. It's fairly Aspie.

I am actually writing a science fiction novel right now that has Asperger's as one of its main components. I, like most Aspies, love sci-fi, and this novel will basically merge what it's like being as Aspie WITH science fiction. I, like I am sure many of all of you are, are pretty much irritated by not fitting into this world. Well, I am writing something that I feel will show the world what's it's like to be an Aspie and comment on a lot of things in life as well and incorporating sci-fi. I know that may be a little confusing, but I don't want to post my idea just for safety issues. But let me say this: if you have ever been frustrated as hell by life, then this book will be the greatest offensive tool to how ridiculous things can be. I want this to be something we all can identify with, both Aspie and NT, and be a piece of literature that brings light to the world on our way of thinking!

Although i'm young and still in high school, I plan to get several works out, although publishing might be a problem.

Short Story: культуры нигилизма (Kulʹtury Nigilizma)
A completed story, The sole character is an author avatar of my views on culture and society mainly American, the story is primarly used as critism, however since my character is a Russian emigrant, I decided to give him a rather detailed background with him being born in Novgorod during WW2, and some of his experiences in the Soviet Union. The story it self has reference numbers, and it only has reflections and comparisons, but i tried to get a good deal of historical information so as to make my character genuine.

Works in the Future:
The Religion of Money: an essay describing how money is worthless and only a fetish and that man has Enslaved himself to his own superstitions.

Commentary on The Art of War and On War:
A book that is basically commentary on Sun Tzu's Art of War and Carl Von Cluasewitz's On War

The Fallacy of Extremity: a book on why both Anarchism and a hypothetically one world state ala Illuminati, ect is implausible, with my on theory called, the Fission and Fusion Theory of States.

An as of yet untitled book on warfare is something I have started on

Personally I don't want to really write about have Aspergers or being an "Aspie" how i hate that term, makes me feel less human, well I could write about my views on the subject. I consider myself a man more than an a "Aspie"

Well, I completely sympathize with your views on the term "Aspie" and its possible negative conatations. But with the book I am doing, I am trying to make it looked at in a positive light. I know better than anyone how psychological classifcations make you look like a specimen, but I try to look at "Aspie" as just another sociological term of equality within society. In other words, just like you have male/female, young/old, etc., I am hoping society will one day have Aspie and NT and that they will be given equal respect but are just different. However, I do like you idea of showing the dangers of money. Frankly, I think society as it is is a load of crap that I have to suffer for, so I am glad a lot of us are on the same page with that.

Well, I've put the two projects I mentioned in my previous post on the backburner until I can figure out a plot for them, but I have started a new short story which I have reasonably well planned out. All I am willing to disclose about it now is that it is set in predynastic Egypt around 4000 BC.

Is it a type of historical fiction?

Sort of; "prehistorical" fiction would be more accurate.

My other stuff is on the backburner right now. However, I just completed the story in question (it's 6,875 words long) and have sent it to a fellow writer named Charles R. Saunders for review. Hopefully I'll get it published! :D

Ya, I have a 50-page outline for mine right now that a few of my friends are reviewing, but I will start working on my story as soon as I can. I am trying to write a full novel here, so it will take me a TAD bit longer I imagine. I wonder how many Aspie authors are out there all together, as in published, real authors?

Haven't heard anything back from Mr. Saunders yet, but I'll give him a week to respond.

Mr. Saunders has finally replied to my story! He says he enjoyed it, although he did have one minor suggestion for improvement. It's really awesome when a professional author likes your work. :D

i just had an idea for a scifi book! tell me what you think: (and don't even think about trying to steal my idea, i can report you for inapropiate behaviour)

according to einstein's theory, E=mc2, where light is the constant ( the c2, or c squared ) if you were to travel any faster than the speed of light, you would literally disintegrate, but if you were to replace light with time, then time travel would be possible, but the government immediately (or almost) put a law on the invention, stating you would need a lisence to "travel" time, because they were afraid that the traveling would effect the timeline, and ultimately, destroying all existance of life, even though they knew that if time were to be changed in the past, then the effects were to have already happened, anyway, legally, you can return someone to life by going to the past with a liscence and saving them if they have a lisence and the person did not die of natural causes, but once these people have been brought back, they are still legally dead, so there rights are not very well established, and they are not equal to those who are yet to die, the book is about a boy named Zamion, who wants to be a time-rider, or someone who travels time to save someone's life, gets this job (he is around, 19, or something) and discovers the rights of the legally dead are not well established, because it is a sort of secret, becomes a sort of activist for the legally dead...

i am still not sure about the title yet, i am thinking either "knight of the legal dead" or just "legally dead"... tell me what you think....

Thats an interesting idea about the dead having no rights. Stephen Hawkings states that if you were to travel very close to the speed of light you would start travelling through time because time would slow down for you the traveller but would run normal for everyone else. Not sure about back in time though. But I reckon you could do the story anyway. You could just try to relegate the science bit to another character other than the main POV character. Have them invent a time machine or something...

well, I am yet again working on another project, starting with the world-building phase (still no actual name for the world though.)

as for some details for the time being.

- Fantasy setting obviously

- Light and Dark Pantheons of gods, which tend to bounce between 'good and evil' on a whim (kind of drew influence from greek mythology combined with DnD. And yes they are real, even then though not everyone acknowledges them.

-In the distant past there was an empire which fused both magic and technology. They ended up messing around with something they shouldn't have and ended up causing their total destruction. Ruins of their civilization are scattered about but most have been destroyed by the elements. What they did also had a profound effect upon the environment. Many of the 'current day' monsters are descendents of mutated creatures caused by the cataclysm that the empire caused.

-Other than aforementioned 'mutants', demons have quite a large part as monsters (I am mostly trying to come up with my own things. Sadly one thing is an obvious dragon age influence in regards to what magic can do if used way too much)

-Magic has a price, It corrupts the user gradually dependent on the power of the spell they use. They then wind up turning into corrupted beings of a sort (well, a mutated creature anyways. and yes this is that dragon age influence I was talking about BUT it does have its differences at least.) Some people are extremely resistant/immune to this corruption as well, but it is extremely rare.

-The gods do war with eachother but instead of doing it themselves, they use the populace of the world as pawns in their conflicts.

-An orb exists for each god of the pantheon and whoever happens to come into contact with one absorbs the powers within. These individuals are then known as harbingers. The orb disappears upon contact but then reappears randomly within the world upon the harbinger's death. The orbs also corrupt but instead of becoming a monster the person winds up becoming an embodiment of the god itself, eventually totally losing their own personality and goals to the ones of the god in question. This is in fact the main aspect the story hinges on to say the least.

-No elves and/or dwarves to say the least. There is one race in a similar vein to orcs but they are yet again completely different in appearance. They also CAN be sympathised with because of how things are. (HINT HINT: Humans ARE complete bastards after all. Which to some may justify the actions of said race)

-yes, the setting is dark and gritty, get used to it.

-more to come when I get back from work.
