If so, what is the song and who sings it?

I'll start...

"Mysterious Ways" by U2

Debussy - Clair de lune

a good song for a cool night, a glass of wine, and a cigarette.

it is an amusing concept to me to think of things "stuck" inside people's heads.

i never have anything foreign (there are so many examples of where the rule "i" before "e" except after "c" is violated) stuck in my head except for what i was born with in there.

when i was a child, i thought things got "stuck" in people's brains because they were dense and thick witted. it used to make me laugh as i imagined analogies like "their thoughts are like insects that got trapped in the stickiness of their mental gloop". but then i learned that "stuck" meant the same as "fixed", so now i understand better.

anyway, the tune that is "stuck" in my mind at the moment (due to the gravity imparted upon it by the mass of my attention) is billy joel's "big man on mulberry street".

here is the best example of it i could find. it is not the version that i can not get out of my mind, but it nevertheless conveys the tune that is extremely addictive after listening to it a few times.

Always. Right this minute it's one of the instrumentals off the Fallout 3 soundtrack, Rhythm For You.
More typically, I've had several songs from the Johnstons stuck in my head because I've been listening to a couple of records of theirs solidly for a few weeks. Like this one, Coleraine Regatta - the lyrics are atrocious, but it's very catchy...
