For me photography is a really good avocation. It is solitary, has a geek side with advanced cameras / software and appeals to my artistic creative side.
am mostly into nature photography use a canon 7d and photoshop.

My passion is photography too, for when I'm in the zone the pain of life disappears for a while. You have a good camera and lens to capture detail close up. I like your photos on flickr. You have a good eye. I have a problem of being a perfectionist at my photography. I haven't got the best social skills. I don't have many friend to talk on the subject either. I visualize ahead of time what the photo will be like. I feel the image and wait fore the right moment. It's the only thing I can do well.

I know of Pro photographers using a Canon 7D. It has a full frame sensor. Pictures are clear and crisp. Always shoot a few shots at the shop so as to check it out before you buy. Get the best gear you can afford.
