ah, the pogues!! classic stuff i must say. "the old main drag" is an old favourite of mine.

in keeping with the irish theme, i am currently reading "at swim-two-birds" by flann o'brien, for the fourth or fifth time. i would seriously recommend it. classic.

Eragon (Inheritance, Book 1) by Christopher Paolini

I also try to read The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy (all 5 in the "trilogy") once a year if I can. I love the humor of Douglas Adams.

I read the following three books at the same time whils't installing a new HDD in my Mac:

William R stanek, Windows 2000 administrators pocket consultant - Fantasy (with a sarcastic intention and something I don't count in as "reading" but more b-shit than facts.) 29 million flies can't be wrong, eat s**t.

Stephen Donaldson, Mordants Need, Volume 2, A man rides through - Fantasy
Michael Chrighton, Sphere, Sci-Fi (I wonder if this book hasn't been shot as a movie too?) ISBN 0-345-35314-5
Geralda Browne, 19 purchase street - ISBN 91-7642-361-1

crappy textbooks.
Over the winter break though I read "The tipping point" (very good book about epidemics/popular ideas), and "always fresh"(an autobiography of the guy who owned the Tim hortons franchise). Books are good, I wish I had more time to read for pleasure.

Oh, good one, and one of my favorites. Makes the movie much easier to understand. I wish someone would attempt a remake of that. Guess they'd have to call it 2101:...
