Well is just long exposure. The camera is on a tripod seted on bulb mode, I have blocked the exposure with a remote control, and I just walked around the tree with a flash light. The total exposure time was for 50 seconds or something like that. In the front of my cousin that sit on the grass is an open laptop to illuminate his face and the other one is just a simple flash light that you can adjust the intensity of the light. The flash light was on my head and pointed on the grass. Too much technical stuff?

Wow...that's cool. How did your cousin remain so still that he didn't blur too much???...even a little movement with such a long exposure time can screw it up!

Well this wasn't easy at all for him :D . The trick was that initially he had the laptop with black screen...so there was no light in front of his face...when I managed to finish the circle, I was behind camera and he gently pressed a key to make the screen bright and hold like that for only maximum 2 seconds and after just stop the exposure. If I would leave it a light all the time on him, he was too bright (overexposed) and you couldn’t distinguish any character there. Anyway this picture was the fourth attempt after another 3 unsuccessful.

Awesome! You can submit it to a company as a greeting card or something. It's very artistic!

Thank you! I don't know if someone will be interested in things like this...now there are many graphical designers who can make anything with digital editing software.

I love this a lot. Reminds me a tiny bit of something I've done before.

I'm a music composer, not a visual artist. I'm extremely self-conscious when it comes to that sort of thing, so I usually just leave it alone and leave it to the experts.

That said, I've really gotten into the work of Thomas Wilfred lately and have been impressed by the simplicity of his work. Along the way I've seen some things people have done with lazers, film, and animation. Mostly I see a lot of cool stuff, but there are also a lot of things I find unpleasant and frankly just don't get. So I figured my own work isn't the worst in the world, if horribly unsophisticated.

I've been using NASA images to accompany my musical work, but I've been looking ahead to maybe developing my own visual content. I'm not 100% happy with the results I've gotten so far, but I haven't even started on a basic concept for new music yet--still working on the Hubble-themed idea I've been using for nearly a year now, and I'm swamped with other "offline" projects. So there's plenty of time here. I just thought I'd take a chance and post a test animation I made using Blender. I think it's pretty cool, but I can honestly handle any comments some of you "real artists" may have. It is still a work in progress. Thanks in advance for tolerating me! =D

Practicing with my funpad, I thought I would do a tribute to the late great Frazetta with a huntress theme

Superb! I've always tried to get a similar style to this with my cartoon work but I never achieve it.

^I like your work too and thanks for everyone for sharing.

Here's something else I call "Do I dare?" There was a path I saw while out driving in the woods that was all grown over and dark. It looked like it would swallow you up but you couldn't keep yourself from wanting to know what was in there.

I just finished this. It's a comic idea I came up with and want to go further into. It's based on me, two of my friends and one of their boyfriends. I'm the only hero and everyone else is a villain. My hero name would be NeXus. The only other name I have so far is for the guy in green and his name would be Dr.Pothead. I'm considering calling the one in purple Maneater as it would fit her well.

Here's some stuff from a few years ago. I'll post some new things once I get a camera!

I used to play Neopets... a lot.

Mutt. I used a photo reference of a running Azawakh when drawing this, so I can't claim full credit.

Really quick drawing, just needed to get my feelings out a bit. Named it 'Loneliness'
