Here's some music I made. The big modular synthesizer (closest to the camera on the left) is one I built myself, as is the suitcase synthesizer next to it; these home-made machines are taking care of the sweeping chords and basslines. Building electronic musical instruments is my passion.

Unlike popular music, this is not multitracked, nor do I use a computer, it is all live.

You should compose music for video games. It's quite ambient and calming.

Thank you, although I wouldn't know how to go about getting into that industry. I'm good at building the stuff and making tunes, but no idea about that side of things. It would be nice though.

It's much more electronic than I prefer, but for that kind of music it is very good. I'm impressed that you created all of that equipment yourself, it looks pretty complicated lol.

Nice. I'll definitely be downloading your tracks. It's been a while since I last saw a Theremin in action That is a pretty impressive setup you have there. Look like the result of many, many hours of work.

I designed several modules for a local modular synth manufacturer a while back, mainly digital stuff such as midi/cv converters, digital delays etc.

That's awesome.. I haven't built any digital stuff as yet. I've only been into the analogue gear (easier to DIY), only a few more modules before the behemoth is finished.

I'd like to see the stuff you designed though. Maybe I already know about it.

Are projects like that ever finished? There's always another neat module to add...

RS370 Polyphonic harmonic generator - it was a beast to program but it's still my favourite module

French Connection - this started out as a custom design for Radiohead but enough people wanted one that it was put into production.
I also did the midi/cv onversion and some of the case design on the ill-fated Alex Winter 'Welsh' Minimoog.

I would love to build a modular, but I have other projects that take up all my time and money, so...

I like to make my music "live" as well. Work on setting everything up first, then press record and hope you don't screw up.
