Past few weeks of my life consisted of getting stoned and listening to early early Pink Floyd. Here is a great example, the song is called Careful With That Axe Eugene and it is probably the scariest song I have heard.

Listen to it and tell me that's not the definition of INTENSE.

Ahh... I love Pink Floyd! Gilmour is one of my favourite guitarists out there.

I like Gilmours solo project as well, I am more into that than Pink but there are some songs of them like
"Shine on you crazy diamond" and "Comfortably Numb" that just hits you even at first listen.

Bad thing about the stonage though but oh well...

I've always felt that Dark Side of The Moon signalled Pink Floyd had slid into mediochrity. --Glad to see somebody who appreciates the older stuff. Krautrock band Faust has their unreleased fifth album 'V' posted here:

The intensity is similar, though a bit more brooding, and claustrophobic sounding. I first heard track one of this on a college radio station back in Maine in 1990 and immediately became a fan of Krautrock, vowing to find a copy of the album that this song was on. I never found the Album, completely unaware that it was an unreleased bootleg until about a month and a half ago when I found the entire bootleg available for download on WFMU's website. Hope you enjoy it.

Ah some classic Floyd. Careful is a great song, it even matched perfectly with a clip from the Shining.
Another great Floyd song s the early version of On the Run, when it was called the Travel Sequence.
