Past few weeks of my life consisted of getting stoned and listening to early early Pink Floyd. Here is a great example, the song is called Careful With That Axe Eugene and it is probably the scariest song I have heard.
Listen to it and tell me that's not the definition of INTENSE.
I've always felt that Dark Side of The Moon signalled Pink Floyd had slid into mediochrity. --Glad to see somebody who appreciates the older stuff. Krautrock band Faust has their unreleased fifth album 'V' posted here:

The intensity is similar, though a bit more brooding, and claustrophobic sounding. I first heard track one of this on a college radio station back in Maine in 1990 and immediately became a fan of Krautrock, vowing to find a copy of the album that this song was on. I never found the Album, completely unaware that it was an unreleased bootleg until about a month and a half ago when I found the entire bootleg available for download on WFMU's website. Hope you enjoy it.
