Yeah I like him pretty well, except for the fact that during the epic bass drop parts or whatever, the sounds don't really follow music because music is composed of notes - not the sounds of a fax machine getting raped. Lulz Jk about that last part

I actually really liked him when he did some of his songs fully acoustic before he became what he is now, but I really don't mind his current music. I can tell he puts an awful lot into his music too! Despite that I really don't listen to him a lot as I'm more into other styles of music.

the 'dropped bass' parts give me epileptic seisures within seconds, so no; i dont like skrillex... my definition of music (which is 180 degrees opposite of dubstep) isn't even relevant becouse i cant listen to it if i wanted to

I became a fan when I heard the drop on 'Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites'! my brain exploded! I've heard much bigger and better drops since but I still love that tune! My current favourite Skrillex tunes are 'Summit' and 'Make It Bun Dem' because they experiment with other genres.

I've been into dubstep for 5 or 6 years now & the early stuff (Skream, Benga, DMZ, Burial, Pinch) sounds almost nothing like the dubstep that's out now (Excision, Datsik, Bassnectar, Doctor P, Borgore, Skrillex) or more ambient artists like Clubroot, but i don't mind, I like all types of dubstep!

Have you heard of the techno band Delerium? They've got a sort of new-agey flavor that I really like.

Skrillex is so last year. Really. I'm pretty ambivalent about Skrillex, I like some of his songs enough, but in general it's not the kinda music I like listening to a lot. I also kinda think some of the songs released under the Sonny Moore name were better than his current songs. I mean his music is interesting, but I think more just for the novelty factor, but once the novelty factor wears off, there's not much there.

But then again, my favorite kinda music is like, the opposite of the EDM spectrum, with eurodance, eurobeat, j-pop, house music, etc. I like the nice girly love songs.

As far as Deadmau5, I liked the two famous songs he did with Kaskade, so I thought I'd like Deadmau5 a lot, but I found out it was actually Kaskade I liked instead. Kaskade is great!
Kaskade - Steppin' Out
Deadmau5 ft. Kaskade - I Remember
Obviously "I Remember" is sorta an old song now, but yeah. Wonderful one, though.

If saying electronic music doesn't involve real instruments, aren't you hating almost all of the electronic genre?

Does anyone listen to this kind of music on any substances? On a tryptamine I once merged with the sound. <3

I could never lisen to music on substances. To me music is pure and should not be contaminated.

How is it pure if it's constantly changing? If you've ever noticed yourself noticing something else in a song you've heard before (perhaps an instrument ) or even something missing (realizing it was your perception the day after upon noticing the difference, unless you're depressed and something is always missing) you might understand there are a variety of dimensions to music (or art).

Substances, at their best, merely allow you access to those dimensions. They're a paradigm shift.

I've never liked the music. The sound is too mainstream, or typical. It bores me.

Yes, I love Skrillex! :D "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites" was the first song I heard of his, and I became a fan thereon.
