Fleet Foxes--although unfortunately, their catalogue is womewhat limited, so they'd have to be supplemented with something like J. Tillman (the drummer's "solo" act) and maybe some medieval songs.

This is hard: My Bloody Valentine, Boards of Canada,The Beach Boys,The Beatles, Brian Eno..I like a TON of music but I can see myself listening to this music for a looooong time if I'm stuck somewhere.

That is the exact group I was thinking of when I read the subject...

Danny Elfman! I'm also fond of Hans Zimmer.

I can listen to the 80s band Icehouse all day. I have enjoyed and loved their music since I was 14 years old in 1987. I remember singing and dancing away to their song Electric Blue at their concert at Expo 88 my friends and I went too and at another concert I went to in 1989 . I usually listen to their album Man of Colours my favourite songs are Anybodys War and Nothing to serious.

The same thing for hours? It would have to be Bach, although I love a great variety of music styles.

Chalk me up as another person whose gut reaction to this question was Pink Floyd, especially Dark Side of the Moon. I'll also agree with Bob Marley and add Led Zeppelin to the mix as well.
