I like to listen to French and Swiss accordion music. Italian accordion music is also good.

Yes, I like it. I had an uncle by marriage who played it, and he taught his son in law how to play it, too. :D My uncle played popular old tunes, and some polish and polka music. He was very good at it. I think accordions are a great musical instrument to listen to, but hard to learn to play.

I love it! My parents are Polish immigrants so it makes me nostalgic. I also love Roma music.

the late mat mathews [from the netherlands] was king of the jazz accordion. he did an album here in america back in 1959 called "swingin' pretty and all that jazz" which is a collector's item among jazz accordion fans. i treasure my copy.

I like the sound of it, but I don't know much about recorded accordion music.

Does bandoneon count as an accordion?
If so - Astor Piazzolla - Argentinean composer and bandoneon player.
If not - Yiann Tiersen from France who composed the music for Amelie.

Hello,

The next one is not a bandoneon.

But sure, at least to me, bandoneons counts as much and as well in the family of the accordions.

I used to have a little practice accordion and I figured out how to play most of "Kitty" by the Pogues on it.

Vallenato, one of Colombia's typical styles of music, heavily uses that instrument.
It sounds fine, I guess.
