I just finished thia great novel, and ive never found a book that I could so empathize with, seriously he epitomizes the soical issues and feelings of despair I felt when I entere the gifted program. A very funny, poigniant novel, I reccomend it to anyone

Yes

just what i thought, but didnt know if they made a book off the movie or the movie off the book, i find it was well made, and does appear to show what really happens in the confines of a ward if admitted (i never have been, but from what i read here on WP and when my brother was out in mental wards for things

I've seen the film and read the book. Both were good but I liked the book better. I also related a lot to the main character. :)

Indeed, this book is AMAZING. Vizzini, the author, does a great job of characterizing depression and the everyday coping that one must do in order to survive.
