Bear McCreary-Battlestar Galactica, Caprica, The Walking Dead, Human Target, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Eureka, The Cape. I've met him a few times, including two Battlestar Galactica concerts, and have most of his CDs signed.

He does the scores for almost everything attached to David Lynch. I still enjoy his themes for Mulholland Drive so much I have to pick him.

Joe Hisaishi is my favourite too. Don't forget about the movie Kikujiro. Haven't really seen it myself, but it sounds great, I know the soundtrack is.
