My sister's very keen on her music,I like a few of them,I'm also into new age/ambient music generally like Terry and Mike Oldfield and Vangelis.

She is one of the greatest female vocalists of our time.
Love her song "Baodicae" from "The Celts".
I have a few of Clannad's albums when she was with them.
Every now and then I hear her on "Thistle and Shamrock"
hosted by Fiona Richie on National Public Radio.

I've rolled over to Gary Stadler music lately. I made the mistake of listening to Enya's lyrics and the more I heard the more irritated I got. Especially in the song "Only Time" which many in my demographic seem to find profound, she tends to have the sort of lyric brilliance you find in a 12-year-old's poetry contest submission. Gary Stadler lyrics aren't exactly Wordsworth either, but I don't sense that he styles himself as being a poet either. Heck, if he does he's just going to have to accept reality eventually... meanwhile the music is pretty. Enya's is pretty also, but I got a tad burned on that and the mission bell effect that keeps turning up sounds like a Taco Bell commercial so I dunno. That said, I have a large collection of her music. I just overplayed it. The stuff from LOTR is indeed gorgeous and gratifying as well... I always fancied if such films were made that she should be involved in the music.
