Does anyone know how to create electronica/house music?

I mean really good stuff like Daft Punk. I find that I have an ability to immerse myself in the powerful bass and rhythms of this music. I think it would help me a lot and would just be cool in general to be able to play/make this type of music. Is anyone on here knowledgeable as to how to do so? I know it would most likely be pretty costly, but I'm willing to forsake that for the time being. Thanks,
