Anybody else use headphones pretty much exclusively when they listen to music?

After years of using Sony products, I'm currently sitting back with a brand new set of Wicked Audio Solus headphones. Sound is great.

I got two pair of nice Sennheiser cans I don't use nearly enough.

It's usually cheap sony earbuds for me. :?

Then again, I listen to a lot of punk and indie low-fi so...

D'you mean headphones as opposed to speakers, or headphones as opposed to earphones?

If it's the former, then I use headphones instead of speakers, but if it's the latter, I switch between the two. :)

headphones and earphones are very uncomfortable for me, even if I am using them with the lowest volume I still get this ringing in my ear, something that does not happen with speakers mostly regardless of the volume. Also headphones hurt my ears even when they are loose.

But I only have nothing but a pair of earphones so that is all I use. Sometimes I want to keep listening to something but they get really uncomfortable so I have to stop. Some bother me more than others, these do the least but that is still troublesome.

I have two sets of studio headphones, earbuds with a bluetooth built in, and a pair of Skullcandy headphones with bass boosters (not actually a huge fan of these, but they've lasted for about six months already and they're good for drowning out sound).

Yes!
When I'm outside I do use earbuds tho..
I love Sennheiser although they aren't the best in the looks department.
However I'm currently using Audiotechnica ATH M30. It gets the job done.

I own one set of Sennheiser's and what concerns the sound I'm really not satisfied by it at all, it completely lacks colour and warmth despite of what they say, but they do have a really good build.

I own a pair of Sony's too and they are way better what concerns the sound, but are too heavy weighing for general mp3player use and also way too big (meant for DJ use, got a seriously long wire).

Prefer earbuds a bit more over headphones.

I use the Ultrasone PRO 750 at home both for listening to music and for production/post-production, and some cheap headphones when I'm on journey for listening to music only.

I got a pair of k240 studio headphones from Akg for 66 bucks on amazon. Also own a pair of noise cancelling earphones from Sony. Earphones are different than earbuds.
