The cover makes it look like a novelization of the movie, but it's not. It's a collection of three previously published Judge Dredd novels, repackaged as a tie-in. I wouldn't mind seeing more tie-ins like this. It's a better idea than publishing a barely readable novelization that some hack writer cranked out in three weeks.

I'm rereading The Mote in God's Eye for the first time in about 30 years. Damn, it's good!
