Also, when I listened to rap, probably my favorite gangster rap albums were Tupac's "All Eyez On Me" and Mobb Deep's "The Infamous." Mobb Deep is way too realistically gangster for me to wanna listen to anymore, though.

I like rap actually, when I'm in the mood for it. My favs are Mr Bigg, Akon, Young Jeezy, Three Six Mafia, Nellie, Gorilla Zoe.

The other night my son and the boy who lives here with us were in my sons room listening to music. It was rap. I brought the clean laundry in there and the song they were playing wasn't one I had heard before but it sounded familiar. I asked the boy "Is that Three Six Mafia?" and the boy looked at me with his mouth open in total shock and said "How the hell did you know that??" My son said "Cause my mom listens to good music". I don't think he expected an almost 50 year old lady to know who Three Six Mafia was, let alone recognize them by the singers voice.

Has anyone listened to Yeezus yet?

I didn't mind it, but I didn't love it. Too much talk of sex, and I don't think there's a great song on there (like All Of The Lights, or No Church In The Wild, or Stronger, or We Don't Care, or Gold Digger).
