I love my country's music, it's a shame we're not recognized for much more than than Celine Dion or Justin Bieber. I mean, there's just so much to it, everything from synthpop, to progressive rock, to death metal, and everything in between.

Angèle Dubeau is an award-winning Canadian violinist and founder of the all-female string ensemble "La Pietà."

In the first video, the ensemble plays "Les Beautés du diable," by Canadian composer Francois Dompierre. A recording of it appears in Dubeau's 2003 album Infernal Violins.

In the next video is their performance of the famous "Danse macabre" by French composer Camille Saint-Saëns.

The third video features Dubeau playing themes from some of her favorite films.
