Naughty Shakespeare.

Scholarly but short book about how "the Bard" was not writing high art, but was indulging in the lewdness and profanity of his time, and how his plays and poems had been censored for proper public consumption.

Bible of the Adversary by Michael W. Ford. If You're into left hand path philosophy and rituals (especially for Satanism and luciferianism), you'll definitely enjoy it. It's been the best book on the subject I've read since the Satanic Bible by Anton Lavey.

I loved 'The Jewel of the Seven Stars' - Stoker is the master of the gothic without a doubt - read it in a couple of days - couldn't put it down.

Reading 'Guy Mannering' by Walter Scott at the moment

Nerdy? perhaps.

Promise Me by Harlan Coben. It's about someone who goes missing, of course, because that's what all his books are about.

Reading again "The Prince" by Machiavelli.

Still very useful material about politics and society.

"One Man Against the World: The Tragedy of Richard Nixon" by Tim Weiner. It's even better than I thought it would be.

Re-reading in preparation for starting Marvel's John Carter: Warlord of Mars comic book series, which takes place within a narrative gap in the novel.
