I am enjoying Bjork's new music, Volta...Yes,yes,yes I listen to it all the way through every time...it just sounds so incredible I really cannot help myself...We are the earth intruders...ii...iooooooooooo. Anybody else catch her performance on Saturday Night live? It was superb. The Horn section gave me chills.

Crimson edge you have excellent taste in music. I love the Scorpions. :) Big City Nights, Love at Sting, Still in Love With You, those tune bring back great memories of when I was a teenager. My cousin and I use to request some of their tunes on a local rock station and then compete against each other to sing all the words to the song(no easy feat for us...I am from the sticks...way deep in the country). The person who was not singing would check the words on our paper insert from our cassette tapes. Sometimes we would listen to one of their cassettes on the way to a concert. Thank You, for reminding me of some good times in my life. :)

Janelle Monáe - "Violet Stars Happy Hunting!"

Discovered her today browsing through the archive of recent allmusic.com features. She's like a female André 3000 (she was discovered by Big Boi). The song is from the first single from the first suite (of four) of her forthcoming sci-fi concept album loosely based off Metropolis. It's eccentric, intelligent and still poptastic (she's going to be huge); if you like creative and daring music, check her out.
