Televised T Rex performance from Autumn 1974, the last great show they did, in my view. I'm always shocked at Marc Bolan's physical appearance here, the result of three years' addiction to brandy, cocaine and God knows what else, but am impressed by the technical virtuosity and sheer energy projected here.

Apart from Bolan, the other performers are Mickey Finn on congas, Steve Currie on bass guitar, Dino Dines on keyboards, Gloria Jones (Bolan's girlfriend) on backing vocals and Davy Lutton on drums. This was the last appearance by Mickey Finn, who had been with Bolan since the old Tyrannosaurus Rex days in 1969.

The songs featured are: Jeepster, Zip Gun Boogie, Token of my Love and Get It On (more familiar in the USA as 'Bang a Gong').
