1. If absolutely nobody liked it, it would not exist.

2. I'm sure that you mean "That simply should not HAVE been."

3. I know a hell of a lot of people who hate contemporary folk music and death metal, and well they should.

Personally I loath jazz. But I know many who are fond of it.

I don't like country or rap very much.

I'm going to say the vast majority of manufactured pop and horrible horrible mainstream music in the charts today.

i would go with country, but not for the reason you might think. I LOVE bluesgrass. which ironically initially sounds much more redneck and backwoods than popular country, but give it a chance and you might find as i did that bluesgrass musicians are insanely talented. its very stimulating music. popular country by comparison is a watered down, lazy, perversion of bluesgrass. So i would say pop and country, and country is pop, because if it was real, it would be bluegrass. Any music that is not about the music. Other than that I have heard music in every genre that deserves some respect.

I hate drum and bass, so repetitive it gets right into my head (and body, can literally feel it going right through me) and gives me a migraine.

Most of the pop charts these days and I'm also not a fan of country or soft rock.

Parody music. I'm not talking about actual humor acts like Flight Of The Conchords and Tim Minchin, more like Weird Al or bad rock covers that are meant to take the piss out of pop songs.

I don't like rap, can't stand it. I don't care much for jazz either, or neo-folk. But each to their own.

Whatever genre this is:

Most people see this as a classic, but to me it's just one hell of a ret*d "arty" whining cheese-fest.

For some reason, I got the impression that they try to make it sound "autistic" which I take as an offense.
