i'm currently painting a portrait after a few different portraits i found in the newspaper, not to make it look like anyone.

but i have the feeling this portrait is familiar somehow, like a renaissance personality or something, and can't find who it might be,

maybe someone knows? or am i just halucinating (anyway it does drive me crazy... 8O ) ?

For some reason it looks to me like a mix of Robin Williams, Adam Sandler, and Hitler... I don't know.

That looks like a cross between Jon Lovitz and an important figure in history to me!

Gene Wilder! That's it. I think that's the most accurate yet.

in fact i meant it seemed to remind me of some picture i have seen before, like a historical person or a classic painting

for the style, i am exploring portraits yes, i've been doing abstracts for a while, but i do love figurative painting as well, i noticed that by studying photographs, not necesarely copying them but observing the light in a photograph it is rather interesting to obtain a certain figurative result.

(thanks for the compliment :D )
