I finally got round to recording myself singing... my mic doesn't seem to pick up the background song, so it is literally just me singing. Kinda  but anyways....

:) Thanks... I am very critical of my voice... lol. I pick up any little glitch in it. Usually far too shy to sing into any mic, but I figured that since I do it every day for most of the day and have done since I was about 4, that it was time to record some.

Various. Been in choirs, been voice trained by an opera singer for a time and had music lessons for the better part of 5 years. I just had the voice really, before training. Not had any lessons for a long, long time now, I sing for pleasure. Used to do amateur dramatics...musical stuff, but nothing else. Always wanted to do something with it, but too hard to get into.

I listened to part of the first one. I don't know whether you want to, but try auditioning for something or taking classes. You have a great voice, and while I might've said go on Idol (you do have an equivalent in the UK, doncha?), that would be too public and antagonistic for you. Try finding other avenues into the music industry, as you have a wonderful voice.

It is my confidence that has prevented me. Even singing on mic, I get full of nerves...which is insane since no-one is there watching and I have the choice of whether to share it or not, lol. It is frustrating as I know that I should be doing something with it rather than keeping it to myself, but it is the whole knowing what to do. I have considered getting CDs made...there are companies that do that...and sending them off.

You should only have to click on the link and wait and it should play...or press the little play icon(triangle). You do have media player?
