I can relate to that one all the way, and I would strongly suggest that people with low self-esteem/social anxiety to listen to the album "Satisfaction is the death of desire", I get a lot of confidence just from listening to it!

I've sort of been stuck on these for almost the whole last year and a half.
An endless loop on my iPod.

I was listening to Supertramp recently... Even in the Quietest Moments, Lord is it Mine, and Take the Long Way Home (I like to play the opening on my harp - harmonica to some of you )

I used these songs to help me get through a particularly rough period concerning a relationship I almost ruined.

I use music quite often to set my mood or expand upon my mood.
I think I do this much more than any NT does.
I have even done extensive writing spurred on by a single song; not necessarily copying the content, but more like taking the feelings it provokes and running with that.
