Is there any U2 fans or people who like U2

Have you got any favourite songs.

I am such a fan I can't think of any at the moment. But I can play most of there songs on the Keyboard and guitar.

Yeah, I'm a huge fan.

They have an aspie love song: Miracle drug.

I want a trip inside your head
Spend the day there...
To hear the things you haven't said
And see what you might see

I wanna hear you when you call
Do you feel anything at all?
I wanna see your thoughts take shape
And walk right out

Freedom has a scent
Like the top of a new born baby's head

The songs are in your eyes
I see them when you smile
I've seen enough I'm not giving up
On a miracle drug

Of science and the human heart
There is no limit
There is no failure here sweetheart
Just when you quit...

I am you and you are mine
Love makes no sense of space
And time...will disappear
Love and logic keep us clear
Reason is on our side
, love...

The songs are in your eyes
I see them when you smile
I've had enough of romantic love
I'd give it up, yeah, I'd give it up
For a miracle, a miracle drug, a miracle drug

God I need your help tonight

Beneath the noise
Below the din
I hear your voice
It's whispering
In science and in medicine
"I was a stranger
You took me in"

The songs are in your eyes
I see them when you smile
I've had enough of romantic love
I'd give it up, yeah, I'd give it up
For a miracle, miracle drug

Miracle, miracle drug

I do have a couple of their "best of" albums, With or Without You is probably my favourite song. I like their music, even though it's rock orientation, their songs are not filled with anger and hatred, and their lyrics are relatively coherent compared to that of many modern "rock" bands!

I have all of their albums except for Rattle and Hum and All That You Can't Leave Behind, and have three of their DVD releases.

If that doesn't make me a fan, I don't know what does.

I'm not a huge fan or anything but I do like their music. For the most part it makes me feel calm and happy. I really like their Joshua Tree album because I listened to it while on a roadtrip to go backpacking in Joshua Tree National Park and it really fits the area perfectly! I also like War.

The first CD I ever bought in my life was U2's "Rattle and Hum" (Back in the day when everything was still on, do I dare say it....cassatt)
I like their music, their message, and their movement.
For me any member of a band who's up for a Nobel Peace Prize is worth listening to over a lot of whats played today.
But my true musical favorites are Paul Simon, Peter Gabriel and Simon and Garfunkel.

Hmm... I guess you can look at it that way...

But remember, Bono was still a kid and still growing when he wrote that.

I like U2, but I wouldn't call myself obsessed with them.

Reika, I have recently been working on a couple of S&G tunes... Scarborough Fair, and Bookends, on the guitar...
brings back the memories :D

Peter Gabriel had one of the COOLEST t.v. videos EVER... SLEDGHAMMER! :D :D :D

Yes, I love Miracle Drug and Crumbs from your Table. I would listen to those songs all day on some days. They are fantastic summaries of the social gospel, and the theology of MLK.

I've been a fan for years. I saw them on the Joshua Tree tour a half a dozen times. Their shows are spontaneous and thier songs make me feel good. They lost me in the late 90s, but All That You Can't was the perfect album at the perfect time. I remember being in an Irish bar when the album came out. They played it over and over again all night! It's a happy memory because I was so content with my pint, those tunes, with the snow outside.

Greatest rock band since The Beatles, imo.
