When I was in my teens, surrealism was my favourite art style. I worshiped Dali and all the gang. I'm older and disillusioned now, so now I like egon scheele, brett whitely and frida Kahlo...

I love Dahi - I've always said he draws the way I think and the way I dream . . .

I also love Jackson Pollock and Van Gogh's later surreal works . . .

I find that almost everyone likes Dali.. then at some point in their 20s they lose all interest in surrealism. Maybe it's just me and my friends, I dunno.

I like Munch (he's all about love and death and grim stuff), Lichtenstein (he's just silly), and a little Paul Klee.

I'm looking around my house and there is no "art" here! My walls are decorated with portraits of my children and other family members, some nature photos. Actually, there are a couple of paintings and prints scattered around...but they are also very realistic, almost photographic, portrayals of nature.

www.allposters.com is a good place to look, and you get get them mounted on wood, making them look more classy than a poster. Less university-dorm-ish.

I like Dali. Metamorphosis of Narcissus is brilliant.

I like almost everything. My main claim to fame is my rather erotic nude art.
It's not really extreme or outright disgusting, just different poses and pin-up style stuff. Most people love it, some hate it...to that I say: The human body is a wonderful thing and should be appreciated. I might show some of the pictures on here but the private parts would have to be blanked out. It would still give you an idea though. I have some faces and profiles drawn too that don't contain any nudity.

I draw alot of designs too, my own versions of ships, cars, snowmobiles.

Every once inawhile I do a good landscape portrait like a ski hill or beach..

As for other artists, i don't really remember the artist names I just like most forms of art.

I love antiquities - Greek, Egyptian, Minoan especially. I can spend days in museums - the guards look at me funny. And the paintings of Vermeer, Van Gogh, El Greco, Klee and Gauguin are my favorites. Fortunately, I've been able to travel to many of the great museums. There are a few more on my list though. Art is a wonderful part of my life - it offers a unque pleasure I don't get in any other way. Reading great literature is art for me too.

I liked Dali when I was a teenager, not so much now.
I love a lot of stuff by Toulouse-Lautrec, figure work by Egon Schiele, sculpture by Rodin.
And going back into the past even further; I like portraits by Holbein, a lot of stuff by Rembrandt, and some atmospheric paintings by Turner.

fantasy-abstract.

I like to see the places people can come up with in their heads, and mixed up pictures like they would appear in dreams put onto a piece of painted art.

Things like melted clocks in desert worlds with purple water.

I've tried to paint my dreams, but they've never been able to come out as I see them in my head.
