I just discovered Paulstretch. It's great fun.

Sounds like some nice results, just a shame there's no vst version of it :/.

That would rule! But I'm in love with it anyway. You can make almost any sound into an ambient classic.

This used to be a guitar chord from 'Walking on the Moon' by the Police.

You know, I think I might grab this for long background evolvers. I suppose if I use it on any new tunes you know it when you hear it :).

It's not like dblue Glitch or something like that, though. It's quite flexible and musical. You could use it just for lengthening short pads cut from tracks. Definitely a pad making machine.

The only thing that sucks about it; I'm trying hit elements in there and its timing them all as 00:00:00 and not doing anything to them, just giving a little pop or glitch of the initial sample.
I really hope that doesn't mean that I need to degrade everything from 24 down to 16 bit to make it work.

edit: nm, worse problem than I thought - if its not a song or a *really* big long pad it won't acknowledge the sample. :(

Here is a sample of my bass playing - first time I've ever posted a recording of myself playing on WP, actually.

It's me playing Jaco Pastorius' "Portrait of Tracy" on my fretless J-Bass. One of my favorite songs. I have a lot of stuff online, actually, but I just don't want my IRL identity being linked with my WP account because I want the things I say here to stay private.

New hymn arrangement for handbell duo. This is an excerpt in which I'm attempting to make 4-part-harmony with only 2 handbell players. Handbells have some serious physical limitations, so much of it ended up being unison--but still, a lot of the harmony ended up in this little bit. We're still working out some kinks, hence the sloppy execution. Once we get choreography perfected, it's gonna be a pretty rockin' li'l arrangement.

I recently got around to finally uploading one of my 3 already made instrumentals up onto youtube. No album artwork yet, paint's being stupid.

This is the only music file I have uploaded. This was taken 2 years ago but it's really crappy. I uploaded it to youtube as an experiment because I had never uploaded to it before this. This taken during the couple months I was in a band. The band thing didnt last for me because I hardly ever talked during the sessions and the music they played bored me. I'm playing on my "Hush" guitar, which is a Strat copy I constructed from 4 different guitars. Definetely not a shining moment lol
