Something I put together in the last couple days as an idea probe for a vocalist who's looking for some beats:

I'm realizing I could do with a good sample bank of EPs and Organs. Looking seriously at Scarbee's CEP and EEP for the moment.

I should put my synthesized EPs together and send them your way. Synclavier, Roland alpha Juno, and Obie Matrix 6. I have a Dx7, but I haven't worked up any keyboard sounds quite yet. I figure the DX EP sound is probably too cliche at this point in time, which is why I've never programmed one of my own, though I've imitated it elsewhere.

I also have a bad habit of starting out to make synthesized string and brass and ending up with modulated organ sounds.

Scarbee stuff is always good.

C'est bon :)

Might be a weird and picky thing, but I'd prefer it if the long snare/clap reverb was about twice as long as it is.

My big dig listening to it last night was that I felt like the reverb went too long on the main synth. The problem there though - it would need more compression on that same element to transfer smoothly, otherwise its kinda abrupt.

No matter what I'll say it'll just come out wrong.
