I allegedly have Asperger's. :D Seriously, I'm not all that sure, pointing out my hatred of celebrities.

Interesting that no politicians are on the list.
But not surprising.

Politics is an unlikey arena for an aspie to succeed in so I doubt many politicians are aspie.

possible in local politics maybe, where charisma matters less.

I started a thread on another aspie site with the question "what famous people in history do you think were aspies' a couple years ago. It started a long interesting thread. Some of the same figures were suggested (like dylan).

Someone suggested George Washington was an aspie.
The poster said Washington was compulsively honest and blunt ( kinda like Dr. House in a powdered whig).
Maybe Washington litereally 'couldnt tell a lie'. An interesting image of Washington. But I seriously doubt he couldve been successful as politician being that impolitic!

Just gonna say Billy Corgan and Tim Burton are most likely aspie.

Previously, I´d never guess that Keanu Reeves could possibly have Aspergers, but as you said it, it makes one think about it. He acts a lot like an Aspie, but it does not necessarily mean he is one of us. But it is likely, I admit.

However, I don´t see it possibly with e.g. Sly Stallone. Sorry. That guy is as NT and as sociable as possible.

Someone mentioned aspie athletes. I don't think Steve Prefontaine was a classic aspie, but may have had his toe dipped in the shallow end of the spectrum. He was social, but quirky. Single-minded, intense, argumentative, philosophical, justice-minded (to his own detriment). But, seemingly far greater a social facility than one would associate with aspies.

I do think that one of his opponants, Gerry Lindgren- someone you've probably never heard of - is on the spectrum. Both were track and cross-country running prodigies. Lindgren had far more rigid, fixated, extreme behavior regarding running. He had life-long difficulty dealing with the demands of the world and the people in it.
Prefontaine was a provocative and elusive character, Lindgren was perceived as thoroughly baffling. As aspies: Prefontaine, not likely; Lindgren, almost definitely.
