My main concern at the time was earning the $6.60 it cost to buy those vinyl LPs of my bands in those days....on my kid-wages.

Chuck Negron has one of the great voices in rock history. They had so many Top 40 hits they got pegged as a AM "pop" group when they were as good as rock group many of the more celebrated groups of that era. Even the oldies stations don't play them that much.
