A thread only stays alive while you keep kicking it. You've said... check out my blog. We've done that.

You need to discuss more about it and people will continue to post.

For example, maybe tell us what your favourite piece is and why...

my favorite piece so far is my most recent in the blog titled "change of heart". i like it because i was in the best mood i've prolly ever been in when i wrote it and because for the moment it seems a culmination of my current work in that poem-type. plus i'm pretty satisfied with what i have done with metaphor and the imagery it brings to mind. :)

however i also have another favorite. though i am not sure if it is in there.
it goes like this:

"wings of stone"

falling from your lips
like so many stone birds
attempting to take flight
as such are your empty words
falling on deaf ears
they drop and shatter on the floor
even as you begin to speak
i'm turning, walking towards the door

in which case i like the rhyming scheme, and the imagery it calls to mind, etc. this one on the other hand i wrote when i was in a bad mood.
i in fact like it's rhyming scheme so much that i wrote out a template for it and made another poem with the exact same pattern and flow. which in my blog i believe it is titled "sand & sticks"
