"We didn't start the fire" by Billy Joel, and "Another Brick in the wall: Part 2" Plink Floyd.

I've actually downloaded a couple of Le tigre albums but I've not had time to listen to them yet (on Dunc's PC and his cd writer is a bit temperamental).
Will have to make time to listen to them soon and let you know how they compare to Bikini kill.

I like the words to John Lennon's Imagine.

My favorite song as of late would have to be 'I Don't Want To Know' by Mario.

Dunc-

I love the Smiths, but I have to say that "The Queen is Dead," is my favorite, mostly because it was my first Smiths album. Although "Strangeways" is great too.

My hubby and I saw Morrissey in concert and he gave a pretty lackluster performance, but his voice sounded great and the music was of course awesome. He looked like he was just going through the motions.

Tallgirl.

Count yourself lucky - I went to Finnsbury Park (London - euuurrrgghhh!) to see Morrissey when he was on there with Madness, Ian Dury and Flowered Up - because he'd had mud thrown at him the previous day, he didn't even bother to go on..... I was fuming....

Oh yeah, and my favourite piece of music of all time would be the whole of "Strange Times" by "The Chameleons" - why they never went on to worldwide success is just utterly beyond me as they were just superb![/b]

The Queen Is Dead - brilliant! Although 'Louder Than Bombs' has some gems on it too. They don't seem to have released a bad song though.

Dunc :D

Joke about John Lennon:

How come all the good socialists get shot in the head; John Lennon, Martin Luther King, Trotsky... while all the bad socialists get their own countries like Hitler, Stalin and Pol Pot...

It's just not fair for those poor socialists...

I like Bob Dylan... and I'm partial to the Doors...

Don't want to go dragging things off-topic to the political thread, but I think you'd struggle to call Hitler a socialist.....
