HATE Nickelback with a passion.
But, nothing amuses me more than when DJ's try to play their songs in rock clubs and the dance floor empties.

I've never known a rock fan be into Nickelback, sorry but that's just strange

As for finding similar music, if they're still working as they did before they blocked non-US residents I used to love Pandora.com for finding similar bands and artists, or of course try Last.fm - http://www.last.fm/music/Nickelback they have 25 pages of 'Similar Artists'

At one point, there was a big Metal show in Portugal, and for some reason somebody invited Nickelback. They were booed of the stage. Thought you'd enjoy that, Bloodheart :wink:

If there was a way to take a sloppy, wet dump straight into a tape machine and run it until the entire reel was thoroughly coated in the vile sludge, then reproduce the tape and actually sell it to a willing public and make a fortune, Nickelback would be it.

Alright, what's with all the hate, here? They're not that bad; I happen to like Nickelback. They're not my favorite, but they're far better than the generic rap and hip hop that gets passed off as real music these days. At least you can tell the difference between their songs, unlike most pop and both aforementioned genres.

Actually it has been demonstrated that many of their songs are almost the exact same

I'm Canadian, like the band, and I hated Nickelback even when they were new and not so popular

One thing I hate about the hip hop/rap you mentioned is the whole "sampling" fad. The idea of blending random songs together in inane ways really pisses me off. Disk Jockeys are not musicians
