My big sony headphones are my favorite but I use earbuds sometimes too. What is the difference between headphones and earphones? I thought they both meant the same thing...

Headphones.. My ears are too small for earplugs :(

in-ear buds. their easy to replace, last about a month or 2, have decent range and sound quality with great bass.
