The Prisoner of Azkaban was the one I enjoyed reading the most. Other ones like books 4-6 may have had more intricate, better developed plots. Actually the third book didn't advance the plot of the whole series a great deal but it was so much fun! It had Buckbeak and the time turner and Professor Trelawney predicting Harry's death all the time, Hermione telling her off and storming out of class, and before that punching Malfoy in the face.....it was awesome!

Tough choice. I guess I'm going to go with the Half Blood Prince because I like how they learn about Voldemort's past. Pretty awesome, really.

Prisoner of Azkaban, followed closely by Half-Blood Prince.

Actually, my favorite Harry potter book is the one where the main characters manage to destroy the One Ring, putting an end to Lord Vader's reign of terror and saving Atlantis.

I do not even know why I felt the need to post such a stupid joke...

Sorry for this terrible joke, by the way.

I loved the Half-Blood Prince. Felix Felicis, the mysterious potions book, Harry and Dumbledore's meetings, Occlumancy, the war at Hogwarts, Voldemort's past... I've read that one in three different languages

I agree with Prisoner of Azkaban(the first appearance of the death eaters) but I think the chamber of secrets is a bit underrated.

my favorite as a kid was always chamber of secrets. i think in the beginning of the series there's a lot more emphasis on the "magicalness" of the school and just the magic in general. if that makes sense.
then as i got older i began to favor order of the phoenix because of how much everyone grows up in that one. neville, especially. well, and harry.
