Heh. Sydney Carter once had someone come up to him and insist flat out that "Lord of the Dance" (which he wrote) was an old folk song. ^^
I sing folk mostly. I've got a few short recordings - I'd hoped to start putting some stuff on YouTube but my new phone is quite disappointing in its sound recording capability. Might start using the studio at work once the holiday is out.

Blackwaterside or (either)
The World Turned Upside Down or
Hughie Graeme, say - have fixed geographical and cultural references that don't fit in with LRP settings, and there's only a limited subset that really work
a cappella and aren't so long as to bore people to tears.
