The existence of people who spend their time "hating" 18 year old pop stars saddens me.

Better him than me.

-he's a product of my home country and my home province unfortunately
-I work in child care and the children love singing his songs 24/7
-he's always whining about dating and "heartbreak" in his music videos and he hasn't even experienced adult life yet
-he's making all of these other singers that try to be like him come out ex-Cody Simpson, Grayson Chance
-he's just so fake

I've never heard his music, so I don't have any say in this.

Hes a spoiled brat and I dont like his music anyways I am not into his kind of music his kind of music belongs to those who go for the backstreet boys and N-sync etc. I dont hate people who like him, to each their own. I like listening to alternative Trance/Techno and metal as well as some Jrock and Jtrance.

Even my sister has stopped liking him. I don't hate him, I'm just not into his music at all. If he came into the media with original sounds that weren't mainstream, I'd give him a little more credit.

But seriously, how original is "Baby, baby, baby ooohhhhhhh?" It makes me sick that something so simple got so popular. Why do artists have to be so simplified these days? If I ever became famous (which I am not planning on, I hate the limelight), I would make everything I did original, beautiful sounding, and eccentric.

I think music should tell a story that will captivate others, whether it be with words or just the music itself. At least it would have been an original piece of work.

Justin Bieber had worked with one of my favorite musicians, Carlos Santana in the Madison Square New Years Eve Concert, covering the Beatles Song let it be (Watch video below). It is rumoured that Carlos Santana is recording a song with Justin Bieber. I Hope It is True.

I have managed to get myself that far that I don't even know how Justin Bieber's music sounds like. Same goes for all the other pop artists of today. I'm not regretting it.

Same. I guess that makes me a crotchety old geezer at 26, but I'm much happier not polluting my mind with such things.

Art for the sole purpose of money is not art.

I don't even care for Carlos Santana, but recording with Bieber would irreparably cheapen his reputation. Furthermore, neither of them has any right to ruin the work of the Beatles. Their mark on music history is important and should not be f****d with.

But, I guess it must be okay these days to destroy historical works in the name of the ever-weakening, backed-by-jack-squat, dollar... :(

It's meant to appeal to little girls and be a cash cow. It's working famously.

You may see it that way. But to me, Justin Bieber and Santana are paying tribute to the Beatles.
