How much does your life get into your writing?

I know that type... I never just put what I want. It could be subconsciously because my existential thoughts, which have existed for ages in art etc. were considered 'not normal'.

My life is practically the only thing I write about, I write journals of my thoughts, feelings, reactions, things I've learned and ideas I'm processing. This is my writing because I want to have them published some day. But, my short stories and any other writing I do also contains aspects of my life and who I am.
