Vexations works so well for other people(I absolutely adore all music) is because it builds up. Is it only two notes/keys?

I have no idea. All I know is that it's the exact same sequence played nearly a thousand times.

Same ganondox, I like all instruments given time to be noticed with multiple vocal styles and a balance between strong rhythm and lead instruments...although I am willing to accept all rhythm (all lead is a mess, look at Animals as Leaders.)

One that I particularly like is Acid Mothers Temple & the Cosmic Inferno's "IAO Chant From The Cosmic Inferno". AMT&CI's "Recurring Dream and Apocalypse of Darkness" is good as well.

Also check these out:

Les Rallizes Denudes - Heavier Than A Death In The Family
Ufomammut - Idolum
The Velvet Underground - White Light White Heat
Magic Lanterns - High Beams
Birchville Cat Motel - Our Love Will Destroy The World
Boredoms - Vision Creation/ New Sun
Kraftwerk - Live on Radio Bremen (Bootleg, so it's downloadable!)
Faust V (Bootleg recording, available with the graces of the band here)
Azuza Plane - Result Dies With The Worker (Live , Available here)
Also, almost anything by Spacemen 3 can be classified as repetitive.

Why can't I meet people my age that have awesome taste like you?

Also, early Dubstep like Skream is very repetitive.

It might have repetition but I am talking about songs where they are just a few notes repeated over and over again.

the "minimalist" music in emulation of eastern/asian modes [such as philip glass et al] is like that.

I'm not sure what you mean exactly but I find a lot of Nickelback's music very repetitive, half of their songs sound the same.

Listen to midnight city by m83 and you will hear pretty much just 3 parts. One the electronic aspect, two just beats during the lyrics, and finally a jass type near the end. I am not talking about lyrics, because then we could get into live performances where they start chanting the same thing over and over.

Yeah, I get that with Coldplay. To the point where, after not having listened to the chart pop radio stations in a while, I heard one of their songs and thought to myself "Oh, right. Coldplay. This single came off their Viva La Vida Album, right?" only to hear the DJ announce that it was in fact their latest single.

Keane also tends to suffer from this.

I was completely wrong about SUnn O))), they have become my white noise (ironically they are influenced by black metal.)
