Most people see this as a classic, but to me it's just one hell of a ret*d "arty" whining cheese-fest.

For some reason, I got the impression that they try to make it sound "autistic" which I take as an offense.

genre: electronic

style: I don't know

Contemporary auto tuned R&B which unfortunately seems to make up about 90% of the charts in the UK! :

I believe there can be good and bad songs in every genre. Very diplomatic statement, I know.

That being said, I tend to dislike all manufactured music with autotune and all that crap to make it sound "better." And yes, unfortunately this is what you hear most of in charts and on TV. Lucky for me, I don't have TV.

That isn't diplomacy, it's the truth!

There are some genres I prefer not to listen to, mostly electronic genres, but I wouldn't go as far as saying they're bad (mostly because I simply fail to understand those genres).

Whatever.

You not liking it doesn't translate into it being "ret*d" or a "whining cheese-fest". I also have no idea what you're talking about saying it tries to sound "autistic". Austere is the word I'd use to describe most of that album and it has that theme of isolation, artificiality, and modernity about it. Yea, I get how the use of simple harsh sounding synthetic notes and beats doesn't appeal to everyone, but I like the rhythm. As for Thom Yorke's voice you can either take it or leave it I suppose. I can understand how it grates on some people but I appreciate it for it's weirdness.

As for the genre, I don't think it really belongs to any but I think "trip-hop" (groups like Tricky, Massive Attack, Portishead, etc...) would be the closest match for this particular song.

I'm pretty open to almost any genre but my least favourite genre is country. I do like the odd country song now and again though especially since I live in the country.

Here in Brazil, we have a genre called "Funk Carioca" (carioca is a person from Rio de Janeiro). It is the worst kind of noise ever created; the sounds are repetitive, the "singers" do not have any kind of ability to sing and the lyrics are like something written by an illiterate 13 year old boy trying to get as many dirty words as he could into a song. Just search for it on YouTube. Even better, do not.

Guys, you are all wrong. I thought Country, Rap, Dubstep ect. were bad, but then I heard the real worst genre ever. There isn't any debate about anything being worse.

I dislike 99% of all electronic music I've heard.

I searched for it, and I think I got stupider by listening to it.

I've said it once but I'll say it again...

"You hurr, I'm a scene kid! Doin' girls like nobody's business. Pop it and lock it I gotta gold chain hangin' from my pocket

I wear shutter shades and have a guy that screams with me when I'm not rappin'. Yo, yo, I drink Bacardi a night where I'm not drunk that'll never happen.

So yeah, I got no license. I drive my mama's car and head on to the bar.

All I want is some homies and hoes. Cuz I got no life and look like I'm 16 years old!"

Yep, that's all CrunkCore is

Now try to imagine living in a neighborhood where everybody listens to that kind of music through the loudspeakers on their cars. You would be surprised if you knew how popular these alleged songs are here in my country (not to mention other equally bad genres such a Sertanejo Universitário, Axé and Forró).
