And now a look at how piano music has influenced animated cartoons.
Just one piece from Lizt and the variations of visions it has inspired.

Glenn Gould playing J.S. Bach is transcendent.

It's funny I loved Glenn Gould for such a long time, then when I was older I read an article about how he likely had AS or HFA, and then I was diagnosed with AS! It's as if I knew it all along.

Two favourites of mine:

Claude Debussy 'Clair de Lune' for piano - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vG-vmVrHOGE

Mozart - Piano Concierto No. 21 - Andante - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=df-eLzao63I

Both very soothing, which I need lots of, lately :S

Yes, at times, although I have to be in quite an emotional mood in order to be able to listen to it. It is an exceptionally beautiful instrument, it has a very haunting quality to it. Slightly out of tune pianos sound very ghostly. The music from the movie the Piano called Sacrifice is perhaps the most beautiful piece of music I have ever heard. Nearly makes me cry every time-
