Being There by Jerzy Kosinski

One of the most fantastic books ever written, and something everyone here could probably relate to.

The books mentioned above are the ones that I read over and over.
I also have the 1953 edition of "The Britannica Great Books" all 54 volumes,
no home library should be without them. Also useful are the 10 volume
"Gateway To The Great Books"
The 11 volume "Story OF Civilization" by Will and Ariel Durant is a "must read".

Cloud's Rider by C J Cherryh

I enjoyed this book. Humans and horses can talk to each other through telepathic thoughts and each human has a horse. Tranquil community but also shaken up due to evil causing a stir. And the evil is not what you'd expect.
