I don't think I can draw worth a tin crap but sometimes I think I do alright things, I am slowly improving after some years where my confidence was non existent artistically so I didn't do much but squirrel away ideas and feelings and structures I pecked away at but drawing was not really there at all during that period, but it's slowly returning, so I'm building toward trynna express and explore some areas I've been hopping around in, most drawings I've tried have been utter pants this year but I'm persisting and improving a bit. I want to really get my illustrating up in every area, only way to do that is continue and use up a lot of paper and imagination and paint and pencil nibs! I like charcoal too, looking forward to doing some shading with that smoggy crud!

I'm sorry, I didn't see the new posts.

@ AspE thanks for the tip, it may help me for future drawings. I should put more my own perception too, evn if it's odd sometimes.

@ DancingCorpse feel free to share : )

That one isn't an original. But I really wanted to draw it.

The hug drawing is so adorable  Drawing helped me to improve my handwriting. I have trouble with manipulating pencils, so I prefer painting and crafts.

For somebody who can't draw, you draw really well! I draw too on occasion, mostly out of boredom or when an idea pops into my head. I don't know if it helps me with anything. Maybe visualization or fine motor control. I've only been drawing on and off for a few months.

Thank you both.

@ jelly, drawing is used in handwriting therapy, particularly with rigid grip and arms. It's a fun and creative way to get confidence. Good for you!

@ rats, it helps with boredom, that's something.
And by can't draw I meant I don't have the proportions always right and stuff like that. I don't even think I would be taken in art school with my current level. But wtf, I just like it.
