Depends on the level of fame, if its something like a minor local/regional celebrity then I think I can handle it no problem. Extreme fame like a top 40s musician or A-list Hollywood actor then hell no. I don't want people constantly trying to get into my life. It'd be soul sucking having to constantly deal with all the fame diggers, narcissist, sociopaths, and sycophants that say what they think I want to hear just so they can elevate their status by simply being around me. I never cared for celebrity and pop culture so it would be really annoying to be apart of it.

I'd hate the expectation society would place on me just for being famous. I have to be a "good role model" for the kids and be as humble as possible otherwise I'm a jerk for not giving someone an autograph while I was in the middle of a meal with my family or a terrible role model for kids just because I got a tattoo or swear once in a blue moon. I would most likely destroy my own career by calling out how fake everyone and everything is call them all sheep that constantly need to sedate themselves with vapid material.

I've been watching BoJack Horseman (a very good show) and it shows that fame isn't everything and can actually make things worse. Happiness for everyone can't be found through money, fame, and accolades. It helps you understand why some celebrities are so depressed despite everyone believing they should be happy because of all the things they got.
