My favorite band is Yes, but I love almost any classic or progressive rock band from the 70s.

What about Dream Theater/Jordan Rudess's solo stuff? Awesome isn't even the word.

She's so wonderfully bonkers! She lives in a place called the Asylum for Wayward Victorian Girls, she calls her fan club the Bloomer Brigade ("Have you joined the Bloomer Brigade, dear?"), and she's endlessly sarcastic. ("Your corset is your armor. Lace it tightly. Breathing is unimportant.") Some lyrics for her song "Thank God I'm Pretty":

I don't know what I'd call the overall best band, though--for one thing it's such a matter of opinion. As to just my favorite, well, I don't like any of them consistantly enough. "Vapor Transmission" by Orgy and "XX" by Mushroomhead" are my two uttermost favorite albums, but "Vapor" is the only album by Orgy I like that much, and "XX" is the only album I like that much by Mushroomhead! XD

Even though I disagree about Rammstein, I wouldn't say her music taste (or anyones) is "terrible". It's all subjective.

And I wouldn't touch Emilie Autumn. ;)

OK I accept that maybe Rammstein aren't the best band in the world. And yeah, I haven't heard every band in the world.
But I don't see how the bands I like are crap.
Have you ever even listened to them all, Vodzy?
And you can't say mine is horrible without even posting your own.
