It makes me feel angry that senseless protesters have destroyed a piece of art done by one of the great artists in history. I know that protesters are an angry bunch, but art is art.

The title of this thread is misleading. As me and Fnord explained, they didn't harm the painting. In fact they didn't even try to harm it. The painting was protected by glass. The whole stunt was just symbolic.
