I have a treat here for those that have never heard the Splatterheads.

This first track was the first of their songs to broach my horizon.
The next two are from one of my all-time favourite records. "Bot: the album"

I really liked the Splatterheads! The Eastern Dark was cool too. Thanks for posting.

RIP Basia Bonkowski 2022.
She presented several music shows on Ozzie TV

I remember a Painters and Dockers gig in Swan St Richmond, when they challenged the audience to tear down a disco ball. A succession of stage divers tried and caused mayhem in the mosh pit. I put my foot through the cork ceiling panels over the edge of the stage.
It took several songs before the disco ball fell.

Here's a studio recording of Orchid. This is their first LP, Chaos Is Me.

Now, for something completely different:

And if that's too slow:

Personally I prefer the versions of these songs on Evolved into Obliteration over the versions on their full length World Extermination. The last track is a Napalm Death cover.

I'm afraid the only one of those I enjoyed was Eyehategod.
The Love lost I found too random, with too much screaming.
Orchid was pretty monotonous, with too much screaming.
Insect Warfare I would define as pure Oi.

Eyehategod had a certain juggernaut power and enough engineering to make the instruments discernable.
None of them were danceable nor even serviceable for headbanging. Suitable only for bouncing off others in the pit. I'd have to be pretty tanked to spend a whole set in the pit.
What have you got that drags Eyehategod more towards middle of the road R'n'r? .. maybe power-pop?

Probably the rest of their discography. I only really like their debut though.

Insect Warfare are fairly typical grindcore.

And today I introduce Fred Negro.
A Melbourne legend most often seen with his trademark hobby horse and a rubber chicken, Fred was front man for "The Brady Bunch Lawnmower Massacre", "I Spit on your Gravy", "Pizza Sluts", "The Gravybillies" and "The Band who shot Liberty Valance" to name a few.
Renowned as the ugliest man in rock'n'roll he was the cartoonist responsible for "Footy Mouth" and did a strip on every Prince of Wales hotel flyer for about half a century.

My favourites of his tracks aren't on YouTube...yet..."Dostoyevsky" and "Carpark"

^I''m enjoying the controlled chaos of this. It's quite melodic in spite of the speed and chaos.

I used to live in NYC and now live in Houston. This is a track from a classic Houston punk band from back in the day. Friends of mine were in this band and are now in their late 60s. The lyric says "I was a teenage f**kup f**kup, now I'm an adult f**kup f**kup."

I'm not sure how well these guys did overseas.
They were popular on the pub circuit here.
I had such a hard time choosing a track for you I suggest you sample the album.
