Is it a real flute or a recorder?

I do :D I have a hard time fitting practice because my school has a much harder program then the average school, and I spend most of my time working. However I love playing when I have the time.

Nice. To you play in a band at your school?

Me? I'm in a writing program at my school, so flute time is hard to find :D I think I'm pretty good when I do though

Yes, it's hard to find time, isn't it. I usually play during the holidays only. Sometimes I want to play at night, but then of course I'd wake up the others. :?
But I used to play in the school band, and that's what I miss the most, it was such a good experience.

Ooh, I've always wanted to try a piccolo. :) Are the fingerings the same as flute?

Yes, I’m a flute player. No experience with it in school though (in 4th grade, beginning clarinet, the instructor yelled at me for sqeaking - needless for an aspie to say, I was not very excited to take up any school music programs after that). I currently enjoy playing folk/dance music.
